Ask Toolbar Notifier is digitally signed by APN LLC., however, it's still detected by multiple antivirus scanners as PUP/Win32.IECore, a variant of Win32/Bundled.Toolbar.Ask.F and browser hijacker. This program runs as Ask TBNotifier in the background and check for available updates. It can download and install additional adware components on your computer. It is considered adware/PUP based on the system modifiions and aggressive distribution methods. Most of the time, it's bundled with potentially unwanted software, adware and even spyware. It can install tracking modules and even though it won't stl your sensitive information it will certainly collect your browsing history and send it to a remove server. Browsing information and srch queries are usually used to deliver more targeted ads on your computer. TBNotifier.exe is not essential for and may cause problems.
